PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress which includes a hollow part for aeration in an intermediate part and nevertheless hardly allows the intermediate part to be deformed and can support a human body evenly, the intermediate part including the hollow part and capable of being manufactured easily.SOLUTION: A mattress 1 is constituted by three layers comprising: an upper layer part 11; an intermediate layer part 12; and a lower layer part 13. For the upper layer part 11 and intermediate layer part 12, projections and recesses 12b are formed on an upper face side of the intermediate layer part 12 in the same manner as an upper face side of the upper layer part 11 by performing profile processing in which foam bodies by each of which each layer part is formed are passed between a pair of rollers arranged while facing each other and the foam bodies are cut in a state in which each foam body is deformed so as to be corrugated by plural projections projected on each outer peripheral face of both rollers. Thereafter, the projections of the intermediate layer part 12 are horizontally cut to form truncated projections 12a' in a shape of a truncated quadrangular pyramid, and the upper face side of the intermediate layer part 12 and a bottom face of the upper layer part 11 are stuck to each other, thereby hollow parts 12c are formed between the upper face side of the intermediate layer part 12 and the bottom face of the upper layer part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
