PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly respond to snow cover and circuit failure, etc., by switching between one-way rotation operation and forward/reverse rotation operation and improving electricity cost, in a wiper system with a motor capable of forward-and-reverse operation and having a link.SOLUTION: A wiper system 1 has a wiper motor 7 capable of forward-and-reverse operation. Wiper blades 4a, 4b reciprocate on a wiping surface in any operation condition of forward-reverse operation of the wiper motor 7. The wiper system has a normal operation mode for rotating the wiper motor 7 in one direction in a forward rotation drive circuit C1, a forward-and-reverse rotation mode for bringing the wiper motor 7 into the forward-reverse rotation drive by the forward rotation drive circuit C1 and a reverse rotation drive circuit C2, and an emergency mode for rotating the wiper motor 7 by the reverse rotation drive circuit C2 in the failure of the forward rotation drive circuit C1. The wiper motor 7 is driven in the normal operation mode in normal time, and is driven in the forward-and-reverse rotation mode at the time when the wiper motor 7 becomes a locked state or the wiper blade becomes an overrun state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
