PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater observation ship which is excellent in preventing the rolling and the rolling stability, and improved in stability of the ship against waves by providing three to five displacement body for observation and two cavities for floating. SOLUTION: This underwater observation ship comprises a pair of right and left displacement bodies 1A, 1B, 1C for observation provided with an underwater observation chamber, and cavity bodies 2A, 2B for floating of relatively small volume provided on the outside of the displacement bodies 1A, 1C. Underwater observation chambers 4A, 4B, 4C are formed in submerged parts of the corresponding displacement bodies 1A, 1B, 1C for observation, and an observation window 5 to observe the underwater scene therearound from each chamber is provided in a row below the water level on each right and left sides. By providing these five bodies 1A, 1B, 1C, 2A, 2B, the ship is not affected by the rolling, the stability for rolling is increased, the ride quality and safety of passengers are increased, any condition where the underwater observation windows are exposed above the sea level attributable to the heel of the ship is prevented, and the observation from the observation chambers 5 is not damaged.
