PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door device inexpensive and uncomplicated to handle and capable of smoothly developing and moving a folding door in a folding condition. SOLUTION: The base end 4 of a folding door 1 is pivotally mounted on a side frame 6 of an opening 5 opened/closed by the folding door 1 and a guide roller unit 7 pivotally mounted on the loose end 9 of the folding door 1 is engaged with a guide rail 8. A recessed groove 11 provided in the side of a guide rail supporting member for interfitting and fixing the guide rail 8 consists of a linear area 11a on the side of X in a folding door developing direction and a curved area 11b ranging to the side Y of the linear area 11a in a folding door folding direction in such a manner as to be set in recess in view from the outside of the opening 5. The guide rail 8 which is formed linear before interfitted and fixed to the recessed groove 11 is interfitted and fixed to the recessed groove 11 while being partially curved against its elasticity so that the folding door 1 in the folding condition may be tilted sideways and outwardly of the opening 5.
