Along the cable duct (KK) is additionally fitted a hose (PT) carrying compressed air (DL), which is of such type that it melts at respective fire center and bursts so that the compressed air escapes, thus causing a pressure change in the hose. The air pressure in the hose is monitored by a measuring apparatus (MAO) which triggers the fire alarm (SE) at a preset pressure drop. Preferably the compressed air hose extends in a meander, w.r.t longitudinal extension of each cable (CA1--Ca1) near the same.
