PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear tooth flank grinding device capable of easily and reliably grinding a tooth flank of a gear and reducing the running cost. SOLUTION: The grinding device 10 grinds the tooth flank 51 by holding an abrasive sheet 30 between a holder gear 20 and a gear 50 to be ground, and generating the rubbing between the abrasive sheet 30 and the tooth flank 51 by the rotation of the gears 20 and 50. The rubbing direction of the tooth flank 51 and the abrasive sheet 30 is orthogonal to a cutter part, and the cutter part can be easily and reliably ground. Abrasive grains 32 are adhered only to one side (the tooth flank 51 side) of the abrasive sheet 30, and the holder gear 20 is not ground. Thus, inexpensive abrasive sheet 30 may be exchanged according to the abrasion state of the abrasive grains 32, and the running cost can be considerably reduced.
