PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply gas of always sure and stable flow rate to a valve chamber with a first valve part retained therein. SOLUTION: The shut off valve 10 for gas is provided with a movable member 18 capable of displacing along the axial direction under excitation action of a solenoid part 26 in the guide body 20, and a pilot valve part 102 of the valve element part 32 is inserted in a retention part 104 of the movable member 18. The pilot valve part 102 is caulked to the movable member 18 as one unit with a roughly C-shaped locking ring 110, a communication groove 120 is formed on the locking ring 110 on a side surface facing the pilot valve part 102, and fluid introduced inside of the valve body 16 is supplied to the pilot valve chamber 108 in which the pilot valve part 102 is inserted through the communication groove 120 on the locking ring 110.
