An apparatus and a method for sharing a broadcasting program in a digital broadcasting terminal are provided to enable a digital broadcasting terminal to share a broadcasting screen with other mobile communication terminals by transmitting the video and audio of the broadcasting program to a neighboring terminal by wireless so that a user can view the broadcasting program with the people around the user who wants to view the broadcasting program. An apparatus for sharing a broadcasting program in a digital broadcasting terminal(30) comprises the followings: a digital broadcasting terminal(30) which tunes a broadcasting channel and decodes video/audio data of the broadcasting program, outputs the broadcasting program and broadcasts the video/audio data of the broadcasting program by a local area communication protocol when a neighboring terminal(40) requests a broadcasting program; and a mobile communication terminal(40) which receives the video/audio data of the broadcasting program, decodes it, and outputs the decoded data to a terminal display(43) and a speaker(45).
