PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which keeps correct positional relationship between a cover member and a frame member, and a manufacturing method for the camera. SOLUTION: A front cover 200 is fitted to a main body frame 100 on a bottom surface 220 and a right-side flank 250 which are two adjacent surfaces, and positioning to the main body frame 100 is performed. A rear cover 300 is fitted to the main body frame 100 on a bottom surface 320 and a right-side flank 250 which are two adjacent surfaces, and positioning to the main body frame 100 is performed. A left-side flank 240 and a left-side flank 340 are coupled via a fixing plate 400 separated from the main body frame 100. A plate member 60 fixed inside the top surface 230 of the front cover 200 is used to couple the top surface 230 of the front cover to the top surface 330 of the rear cover 300.
