PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate fastening of a pipe into which a nut can be inserted by performing the bolting of the pipe by use of an auxiliary tool for retaining the nut without using a method for boring a tap hole followed by bolting. SOLUTION: The nut 5 is formed of a metal in a cylindrical shape with a head diameter smaller than the outside hole diameter of a pipe 11 to which the nut 5 is inserted, and a cylindrical nut body length larger than the outside hole diameter of the pipe 11. The nut 5 is placed in a nut retaining part 3 at the lower end of an elastic body 2, inserted to the pipe outside hole from the nut head part by rotating 90°by an arm part 4 that is a joint of the body part 2 with the retention part 3 by use of the elasticity of the elastic body, and then returned to the horizontal state by rotating 90°within the pipe by restoration force, and a bolt 15 is inserted through an insert hole at the center of a flange 1 and engaged with the nut 5 to fasten the pipe 11 to a metal fitting 12.
