PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing control device with intake and exhaust structural components made in common. SOLUTION: The valve timing control device 1 comprises an intake driven shaft 21 for driving the opening/closing of an intake valve, an intake rotor 41 for timing control with the rotational displacement relative to the intake driven shaft 21, an exhaust driven shaft for driving the opening/closing of an exhaust valve, an exhaust rotor 49 for timing control with the rotational displacement relative to the exhaust driven shaft, and a driving force transmitting means for transmitting driving force from a driving shaft. The driving force transmitting means consists of forward rotation driving means (a driving sprocket 5 and a forward rotation chain 6) for driving one 41 of the intake rotor 41 and the exhaust rotor 49 in the same rotating direction as that of the driving shaft, and reverse rotation driving means (an idler gear 7 and a reverse rotation chain 8) for driving the other 49 via a reversing means in the opposite rotating direction to that of the driving shaft.
