PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blind which is proof against scratches, maintains a good appearance, and ensures the stability of opening/closing operation, and to provide a fitting. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the blind, even if an upper slat 20 is rotated with respect to a lower slat 20 adjacent to the upper slat, a sliding contact portion 232 of an end cap 23 makes sliding contact with a slat main body 21, and therefore the slat main bodies 21 do not make sliding contact with each other, which prevents the slats from being scratched, to thereby maintain the good appearance of the blind. Further, by limiting a sliding contact location between the sliding contact portion 232 and the slat main body 21 to each of right and left ends of the slat 20 in order to prevent the long slat main bodies 21 from scratching each other, friction resistance occurring at the time of rotational driving is reduced to prevent a hitch of the slats 20 against each other, and therefore the opening/closing operation and rotational operation of the slats 20 are stabilized.
