PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a door check mechanism capable of holding a sliding door made to slide by the swinging motion of a link arm at a specified slide position. SOLUTION: A sliding door structure 10 is provided with two types of coil spring 32, 38 having different elastic moduli (spring constants) for urging a ball 40 to a check arm 42 side to press/bring the ball 40 to/into contact with the check arm 42 (i.e., the elastic modulus is changed according to the stroke). Therefore, the force for urging the ball 40 can be changed by a short stroke as compared with the case of a coil spring having a constant elastic modulus (spring constant). Thus, the door check mechanism 24 for changing the operation load of the sliding door 12 can be miniaturized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
