<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there is a possibility for a liquid to minutely foam when a pre-pulse is impressed depending on a state of a recording head at a recording operation, leading to that the recording operation cannot be stably carried out because ink discharge cannot be carried out normally if a main pulse is impressed in the state. <P>SOLUTION: A drive pulse impressed to an energy generation element is controlled on the basis of a threshold value corresponding to a minimum energy amount whereby the ink foams which is measured before the recording operation is started, and a temperature of the recording head at the recording operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
