<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long object holder mountable on a lightweight section steel regardless of a shape of the lightweight section steel and a mounting method of the long object holder to the lightweight section steel. <P>SOLUTION: A holder main body 5 consists of a holding part 4 capable of holding a conduit tube and a mounting base 2 contacting with a back face panel part Pb or a lip part Pd of the lightweight section steel P. A protruding part 3 is provided for the holder main body 5, extending from a side face 2a of the mounting base 2 orthogonally to the mounting base 2, adjoining the back face panel part Pb or the lip part Pd contacted with the mounting base 2 while the mounting base 2 is contacted with the back face panel part Pb or the lip part Pd of the lightweight section steel P and contacting an orthogonal side panel part Pc.
