PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a play list creation method capable of creating a play list in which recorded content files are registered without any bias, and to provide a data processor and a program. SOLUTION: The play list creation method includes steps of: adding a unique ID number to a content file to be recorded; setting retrieval key data containing a numeral selected from 0 to 9; extracting a content file containing a numeral corresponding to the set retrieval key data in a predetermined digit of the ID number; and preparing a play list registering the extracting content file.
