<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable it to improve the secure level of an image formation device connected to a network by two or more NIC (course). <P>SOLUTION: If SNMP demand to an internal NIC is received (S12), when the setting of SNMPv3 is invalid (N of S14), the control part of the image formation device asks the control part of an external NIC and acquires the SNMPv3 setting memorized in an NIC information storing part (S18). If the SNMPv3 setting of the external NIC is valid (Y of S20), the SNMPv3 setting (user name, authentication-cipher system, password information) of the external NIC is acquired, and a processing according to the demand is performed, then the response is returned to a PC client (S22). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
