PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gearing type engagement device which can reduce an oil amount necessary for engagement without increasing a pressure receiving area of a hydraulic actuator which presses a dog tooth at one side.SOLUTION: A gearing type engagement device 1 comprises a rotating member 17 in which a recess 18 is formed at a side face, and a slide member 12 slidably engaged with a fixed part 2 and including a dog tooth 13 engaged with the recess 18 by moving to the side face of the rotating member 17. The gearing type engagement device also comprises a slide member 8 which presses the slide member 12 to the rotating member 17 side according to torque which is transmitted by the contact of the slide member with the rotating member 17, and a hydraulic actuator which presses the slide member 8 to the rotating member 17 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
