Provided is a thin polarizing plate laminated with a retardation layer, which can easily adjust curls during lamination, can suppress the curls during heating, and has high external durability during heating. The polarizing plate laminated with a retardation layer according to the present invention comprises: a polarizing plate, which includes a first passivation layer, a polarizer, and a second passivation layer, and a retardation layer. The thickness of the polarizing plate is 80 m or less, and the thickness of the retardation layer is 60 m or less. A difference in thickness between the first passivation layer and the second passivation layer is 10 m or less. A difference in thickness between the polarizing plate and the retardation layer is 25 m or less. The polarizer has a thickness of 12 m or less, a boric acid content of 18 wt% or more, an iodine content of 2.1 wt% or more, and a group transmittance of 44.0 to 45.5%. |
