PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly press-contact or release a pressure roller with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes a fixing part 7, a revolving speed storage part 921, and a revolving speed recording part 913. The fixing part 7 includes a heating roller 71, a pressure roller 72, and a driving mechanism 70 and fixes a toner image to a recording paper P. The driving mechanism 70 shifts the pressure roller 72 between a press-contact state with the heating roller 71 and a release state from the heating roller 71 by the driving force of a motor 77. The revolving speed storage part 921 stores the revolving speed of the motor 77. The revolving speed recording part 913 records a release revolving seed NP which is the revolving speed of the motor 77 from the press-contact state on the revolving speed storage part 921, when the pressure roller 72 is shifted from the press-contact state to the release state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
