The present invention relates to a memory device and a system having the same. The memory device comprises: a plurality of memory blocks storing data; a plurality of peripheral circuits configured to temporarily store data read from a selected memory block among the memory blocks, randomize the read data, and perform a decoding operation determining an error correction possibility according to the randomized data; and a control logic performing a randomizing operation to randomize the temporarily stored data when the decoding operation fails, and controlling the peripheral circuits to conclude a read operation of the memory block, if the decoding operation passes. |
