PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a man-machine interface that is simple and good in operability in response to recent increase in one-hand or midair operation in a state of being away from a main body such as a large display device or a spectacle-type wearable terminal.SOLUTION: A finger control-type pointing device includes a movement amount detection sensor corresponding to the rear-face function of a mouse, placed at a middle finger at a palm side, and two-dimensional coordinates input is performed by operation of making the tip of a thumb go over the sensor up and down, and right and left. A switch 1 corresponding to a right button of the mouse is turned on when a gap between the middle finger and an index finger is closed, a switch 2 corresponding to a left button of the mouse is turned on when a gap between the middle finger and a ring finger is closed, and a switch 3 with a built-in rotational wheel on the middle finger can be operated by the thumb. On top of that mechanism, the finger control-type pointing device newly allows a switch 4 to be turned on when a gap between the ring finger and a little finger is closed. The device allows operation such as scaling a screen to be performed by one hand or in midair by collaborating with the rotational wheel, and thus a man-machine interface that is simple and easy is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
