PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developer excellent in re-dispersibility of toner particles.SOLUTION: A liquid developer includes an insulating liquid and toner particles dispersed in the insulating liquid. The toner particles have a core/shell structure, the core/shell structure has a first resin which is provided on at least a part of the surface of core particles and is formed into a shell layer or shell particles, and core particles containing a second resin that is a resin different from the first resin. The insulating liquid has a relative permittivity at 20°C of 1 or more and 4 or less, and the first resin contains 1 mass% or more and 50 mass% or less of a structural unit derived from a monomer having a functional group exhibiting electrostatic repulsion in the insulating liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
