PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet-recording ink composition in which fine spherical organic pigment particles are stably dispersed, an inkjet recording method, and also to provide a high-coloring property and high-definition inkjet recorded matter that has high image glossiness and image fastness.SOLUTION: An inkjet ink composition contains at least organic pigment particles, a water-soluble solvent, and water, wherein the organic pigment particles are dispersed by using a carboxyl group-containing polymeric dispersant. The inkjet ink composition contains particles that accounts for over half of the inkjet composition. In the particles, when concentric circumscribed and inscribed circles are applied to each pigment particle on a TEM image, the diameter of the inscribed circle is 5 nm or larger but smaller than 50 nm, and roundness defined by difference between radii of the concentric circumscribed and inscribed circles is 2 nm or smaller. |
