PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact device capable of attaining downsizing, and an electromagnetic relay employing the same.SOLUTION: A contact device 2 comprises a movable contactor 21, a first stationary terminal 22, a second stationary terminal 23 and a movable shaft 24. In the movable contactor 21, a movable contact 41 is provided. In the first stationary terminal 22, a stationary terminal 42 with which the movable contact 41 is brought into contact is provided. The second stationary terminal 23 is electrically connected to the movable contactor 21 via braided strands 43 and conducted with the first stationary terminal 22 via the movable contactor 21 in the state where the movable contact 41 is brought into contact with the stationary contact 42. The movable shaft 24 moves the movable contactor 21 in an action direction X that is a direction in which the movable contact 41 and the stationary contact 42 become opposite to each other, between a closing position where the movable contact 41 is brought into contact with the stationary contact 42, and an opening position where the movable contact 41 is separated from the stationary contact 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
