<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a sintered product capable of degreasing a binder, i.e., an organic compound and a thermoplastic resin from a compact in a short period of time without causing blisters, cracks and deformation therein. <P>SOLUTION: The degreasing method for a sintered product where ceramic powder or metal powder is mixed with an organic compound and a thermoplastic resin so as to be compacted, and, from the compact, the organic compound and the thermoplastic resin are degreased/removed, and sintering is thereafter performed comprises: an organic compound degreasing stage as a prestage; and a thermoplastic resin degreasing stage as a poststage. In the organic compound degreasing stage, the organic compound in the compact is gasified in the order of a low molecular weight to a high molecular weight, and is degreased by controlling to heat the compact in a state where the viscosity of the thermoplastic resin is held to ≥10<SP>3</SP>Pa×S, and to reduce degreasing pressure stepwise or continuously. In the thermoplastic resin degreasing stage, the compact is heated to a state where the viscosity of the thermoplastic resin reaches ≤10<SP>3</SP>Pa×S, so that the resin in the compact is gasified, and is degreased through communicated vacancies as the traces of the previously removed organic compound in the compact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
