PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for optics/electronics parts using a fluorine-containing oxadiazole compound suitably used in optics/electronics fields, a resin additive able to effectively enhance resin characteristics and a resin composition containing the resin additive. SOLUTION: The material for optics/electronics parts comprises a polymer having fluorine-containing oxadiazole structural units expressed by general formula (1) (wherein m and n are the same or different and express each 1-4 integer, the number of fluorine atoms added to a benzene ring; Ar are the same or different and expresses a 1-150C divalent organic group).
