PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air duct that includes a passage part having an inlet to take in air from an air blower and an outlet to discharge the air to a portion in a longitudinal direction of a long object structure to which the air is to be blown, which are formed into different opening shapes; and a plurality of suppression units that are provided at different positions from each other in a direction for the air to flow in a passage space of the passage part, and suppresses the flow of the air; and that is capable of discharging the air from the outlet in a state where unevenness in the wind speed of the air is reduced in the longitudinal direction and a short-length direction of the outlet and blowing the air to the object structure even when the flow of the air that has reached the passage space located before the outlet varies in strength.SOLUTION: An air duct includes an outlet suppression unit that is configured to be in a state to seal a passage space with an air permeable member having a plurality of ventilation parts scattered thereon at an outlet of the air duct as a part of a suppression unit. The air permeation rate of an end area located at least one end side in a short-length direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction among areas along the longitudinal direction of an opening shape of the outlet in the outlet suppression unit is set to a value smaller than the air permeation rate of areas other than the end area.
