PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound transmitter capable of achieving cost reduction and size reduction. SOLUTION: The sound transmitter comprises: a first converter for converting digital sound data transmitted from an IP (Internet Protocol) network into a first analog sound signal transmittable with a communication line of an m line system, a second converter for converting the first analog sound signal into a second analog sound signal transmittable with the communication line of an n line system (n>m), and a transmitter for transmitting the second analog sound signal to a destination.
