PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable wireless terminal capable of using properly an own station number used at the time of call origination without performing a selection operation. SOLUTION: If call origination operation is performed, automatic number extraction processing is executed at step SA3. If an own station number associated with a telephone number of the call destination is registered at an address book storage 14a, the corresponding own station number is extracted from an own station number storage 14b. Then, own station number setting processing for origination is executed at step SA 4. If the own station number extracted by the automatic number extraction processing matches with an own station number for origination stored in an own station number storage 14c for origination, the extracted own station number is established in own station number setting processing for origination as the own station number for origination. A call is originated to the telephone number of the call destination using the established own station number for origination at step SA 5. Consequently, an own station number used at the time of call origination can be selectively used properly, even if an operation for selecting the own station number is not performed at each time of the call origination.
