PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method easily and efficiently forming an antenna-element pattern or a mesh pattern using a multiproduct continuous production method for an electromagnetic-wave shielding material, particularly a frequency-selective electromagnetic-wave shielding material. SOLUTION: The production method for the electromagnetic-wave shielding material is composed of a process 101 inputting the conditions of electromagnetic-wave shielding characteristics, the process 102 selecting or computing an electromagnetic-wave shielding pattern corresponding to the input conditions, and the process 103 recording the electromagnetic-wave shielding pattern on a continuous web. The production method is further composed of the process 104 converting the pattern recorded on the web into a metallic pattern, the process 105 detecting the metallic pattern on the formed web at every condition of the electromagnetic-wave shielding characteristics, and the process 106 cutting the web with the formed metallic pattern.
