PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix the top plate at an optional height by fixing links to each other in a lift device for lifting the top plate in parallel by using the links. SOLUTION: The lift device has a first link 21 and a second link 22 structuring a parallel link mechanism by connecting a base 18 to the top plate 12, and the first link 21 is formed with a circular part 21C, and the second link 22 is provided with a planetary gear 15 (an interlock part) capable of moving on the circular part 21C with oscillation of the first link 21 and a fixing means 16 for fixing the first link 21 by fixing the planetary gear 14. The top plate 12 can be lifted in parallel with the base 18 by the parallel link mechanism, and both the links can be fixed to each other by fixing the planetary gear 14 with the fixing means 16, and the top plate 12 can be thereby fixed at a desirable height.
