PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure for a tower crane, which certainly transmits a load of the tower crane between a beam of an upper story and a beam of a lower story even when temperature variation exists. SOLUTION: The supporting structure 20 for installing the tower crane on a pillar beam structure 10 is provided with: a base seat structure 23 for receiving the load of the tower crane provided on the beam 11 of the upper story; and a mechanism expandable/contractable in an axial direction and retaining the length, and is provided with a reinforcement member 21 provided between the beam 11 of the upper story and the beam 12 of the lower story without a clearance. The reinforcement member 21 is constituted by a pillar member 24; and a hydraulic jack 25 with a safety nut having a mechanism interposed between the pillar member 24 and the beam 11 of the upper story or the beam 12 of the lower story and retaining the length. The hydraulic jack 25 with the safety nut is retained with the length such that a clearance does not exist between the reinforcement member 21, and the beam 11 of the upper story and the beam 12 of the lower story.
