<p>Provided is an active matrix type liquid crystal display device, which suppresses it while suppressing a reduction in a numerical aperture that the liquid crystal molecules in a region facing the bus lines of pixel electrodes have a plurality of orientations, thereby to reduce a reduction in a display quality. The liquid crystal panel has a plurality of pixel electrodes (2) formed in an arrayed state. Bus lines (42) are individually formed between the pixel electrodes (2). In the pixel electrodes (2), protrusions (50) are formed to overlap the adjoining bus lines (42), as seen in a top plan view. The positions, at which the individual protrusions (50) formed on the two pixel electrodes (2) confronting across the bus lines (42) overlap the bus lines (42), are staggered from each other in the extending direction of the bus lines (42).</p> |
