<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the coiling method and equipment which can reduce the size of a wire cutting and holding mechanism and improve the productivity by shortening the working time. <P>SOLUTION: The coiling equipment includes a hooking member 41 around which a wire 101 is hooked, a cutting clamp member 46 attached in opposition to the clamping member 41, and a cutting clamp drive mechanism 55 which advances or retreats the cutting clamp member 46 relative to the hooking member 41. The cutting clamp member 46 has a clamping part 47 for holding the wire 101 between the clamping part 47 and the hooking member 41 and a cutting part 48 for cutting the wire 101 between the clamping part 47 and the hooking member 41. Holding the wire 101 is performed in parallel with cutting the wire 101 through the operation to press the cutting clamp member 46 against the wire 101 which is hooked around the hooking member 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
