PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for monitoring leakage in a nuclear facility, enabling the detection of a leak location at high accuracy in a short time. SOLUTION: Two or more sampling ports 13 arranged near a steam system and a reactor cooling water system in a reactor container 1 are connected to piping 23 through a selector valve. A radioactivity measuring section 30A having a Ge detector is provided in the piping 23. The Ge detector detectsγ-rays of radionuclide (N-13, N-16, Mn-54, Co-60) in gas sampled through the respective sampling ports. A pulse height analyzer 34A carries out nuclide-assay usingγ-rays detection signals. A data processor 36 having nuclide-assay information put therein judges whether the leakage occurs in the steam system or the reactor cooling water system, based on the amount of radioactivity of N-13, Mn-54 or the like. In the case of leakage in the steam system, the data processor 36 identifies the leak location in the steam system using the ratio of N-13/N-16.
