PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skimming device detection system for detecting a skimming device mounted on the surface of a card inserting port in an automatic teller machine in a financial institute. SOLUTION: In an automatic teller machine to be used in a financial institute or the like and an imaging apparatus with an auto-focus control function for picking up the image of a transaction operation face including the card inserting part of the card reader of the automatic teller machine automatic teller machine, the imaging apparatus is provided with a distance arithmetic part for, when a skimming device is mounted on the card inserting part face, or a false transaction control panel including the skimming device is mounted on the transaction operation face, detecting the change of a focal distance to the skimming device, and for acquiring imaging distance information from an auto-focus control part which drives the auto-focus control function, and the distance arithmetic part is provided with a function for judging that the skimming device has been mounted when the imaging distance information is present within a prescribed range, and for outputting a warning signal.
