PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball valve in which flange parts and the flow passage sides of a body coming into contact with fluids are made of superalloys, such as titanium. SOLUTION: In the ball valve 10 which includes a ball-type valve element 20, a main body 30, and the flange parts 40, the flange part 40 comprises a valve main body end 30a made of titanium, a cylindrical shaped end flange 50 having a cylindrical space, and a flange plate 60 which is a disc shaped plate having a hollow and made of titanium. The end flange 50 is fitted onto the outer periphery of the main body end 30a. While the flange plate 60 is welded to the fluid inlet side and the fluid outlet side of the main body end 30a, the main body end 30a, the end flange 50, and the flange plate 60 are fixed by bolts 42.
