摘要 The Intelligent Electronic Ballast achieves a maximum energy transference; the whole components working at an average percentage of 50% of its maximum performance and at a temperature of 40 DEG C, +- 5% of operation respectively; the design of the Intelligent Resonant Inverter has three main purposes: saving energy, extending the useful life of the charge and the device itself; the technical characteristics of the present invention are: Supplying voltage of from about 55 VCD to about 450 VCD, 0.98 = Power Factor (PF) = 0.999. Energy savings reduced down to 40% of the power of the charge or lamp, extinction voltage of the lamp or charge at 65 VDC, losses < 3.5%, harmonic distortion < 4 %, 1.44 =Crest factor = 1.5; operation of high intensity discharge (HID) lamps, with the following parameters: 70<charge power <250 watts, with voltages of from about 55 <charge voltage <130 volts, with a line tension of from about 55V to about 450V; the invention supports high currents in a short circui t, since it automatically blocks the flow of current from the power supply; likewise it is designed for preventing the lamp or charge from turning on and off intermittently, since the voltage is regulated for avoiding said intermittency, thus allowing HID, new and used lamps; the same is operated in two modes: mode of detection of lamp, through which ignition impulses are generated if the lamp is connected and in good condition, thus avoiding the damage in the lamp and in the Intelligent Electronioc Ballast; and the mode of turned on lamp through which the voltage and current parameters are determined and permanently monitored, both in the lamp and in the power supply.
