摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple optical axes optical sensor which can be manufactured selecting flexibly lengths of a light emitting column and a light receiving column, number of optical axes, an optical axis pitch and so on, according to the width of a dangerous area of study or a diameter of the minimum object to be detected. SOLUTION: A light emitting array and/or a light receiving array comprise: an optical module group consisting of optical modules of number corresponding to required optical axis number made by assembling sets of an optical system for one optical axis, an electric circuit for one optical axis, and a flip flop corresponding one stage of a shift register, whose soles have press contact terminal pins projecting therefrom for contacting with respective core wires of a flat cable; a support frame whose respective individual holding portions having a U shape hold the optical modules respectively to form an optical module array assembly; a common electrically conductive wire which is connected to optical modules arranged from one end to another end; and the flat cable which is made by assembling respective electrically conductive wires only for connecting between respective adjacent modules for emitting lights keeping insulation among the respective electrically conductive wires.
