For the safety of operatives loading and loading vehicles a harnessing anchor point is provided above the vehicle. There may be a single cantilevered beam extending from a single mast or there may be a mast on each side of the vehicle with a harness support beam extending between them. It may be self transportable (to include built in wheels / skids / lifting eyes / towing eyes etc dependant upon proposed deployment and use) to provide safe overhead anchor points where no existing structure exists. It may use the vehicle's own weight to provide safe anchorage of the device or it may be permanently or semi-permanently anchored to the ground. The beam may be pivoted to the mast to provide freedom of operator movement. |
