COMPACT PIPE SAMPLE

摘要

A compact pipe sample is provided to remove the need of compensating the influence of constrain effect resulting from the size and shape variation of sample in a fracture resistance test. A compact pipe sample(100) comprises a pipe in which a notch part(112) is formed in the circumferential direction and a crack is formed on the end of notch part, openings(122,132) to which a pressing unit generating a bending load in the pipe is coupled, and first and second jigs(120,130) which are attached to the exterior of the pipe around the notch part. The arm length of the first and the second jig is adjusted according to the thickness of radius direction of the pipe.
