PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of projecting visible light images and non-visible light images in a time division manner while reducing flickers.SOLUTION: The projector includes: a projection section that projects visible light images to a projection object based on an image signal and non-visible light images for acquiring predetermined information in a time division manner in one frame period of an image; and a control unit that controls the order of the illumination period of the visible light image and the illumination period of the non-visible light image in one frame period. The control unit has a first mode as illumination mode, in which the non-visible light image is projected while being dividing one frame period into plural periods.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
