PURPOSE: A transferring roll and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve productivity by reducing the number of processes as processing the assembled surface of a stainless pipe and a roll pipe of a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) or carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) material is not necessary. CONSTITUTION: A transferring roll manufacturing method includes: a step (S20) of assembling a shaft and a shaft assembling member with both end portions of a roll pipe of a FRP or a CFRP material; a step (S30) of coating a rubber layer on the roll pipe; a step (S40) of polishing and cleaning the rubber layer; a step (S50) of forming a UV coating layer by spreading a UV coating agent on the surface of the rubber layer; a step (S60) of curing the surface of the UV coating layer by irradiating ultraviolet rays; a step (S70) of polishing and post-cleaning the surface of the roll pipe; a step (80) of forming a stainless deposition layer by vacuum-deposition; a step (90) of forming a metal plating layer on the surface of the stainless deposition layer by electrolytic plating; and a step of cleaning and drying the metal plating layer.
