The invention is a new cylinder for locks, comprising a revolving plug (R) suited to control the bolt and partially projecting from the side of the main body (C) of the cylinder when there is no key in the keyhole, and comprising a locking pin (B; Bl, B2, B3) completely housed in the main body (C). Said locking pin (B l, B2) comprises a first locking portion (B l) suited to be inserted in and extracted from recesses, seats, holes or other similar shaped cavities (Rf) present in the revolving plug (R) that is coupled with the bolt, and a second operating portion (B2) suited to be coupled with a translation mechanism (M). Said translation mechanism (M) and said locking pin (B; Bl, B2, B3) are housed in the main body (C) of the lock cylinder, in a part where there are no other mechanisms and intended to be positioned towards the inside of the house, apartment or building. |
