PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens processing device which obtains stable lens shape and size by previously setting a proper processing removal amount per unit time in accordance with a cutting object material, a processing tool and a processing condition by using thickness information of a spectacle lens together with the radius vector of the spectacle lens, and fixing processing resistance by obtaining the combination of a proper cutting amount for each rotation angle and a lens rotation speed.SOLUTION: A spectacle lens processing device comprises: a spectacle lens holding part which holds a spectacle lens so that rotation control can be performed thereto; a processing tool part which holds a rotation processing tool for processing the spectacle lens so as to be capable of rotating; a control drive part which can control the relative physical relationship between the lens holding part and the processing tool part in an axial parallel direction; and a control drive part which can perform control in a direction in which an inter-axis distance between a lens rotation axis and a processing tool rotation axis can be changed. The spectacle lens processing device performs drive control by associating the relevant drive parts with each other so as to achieve the proper processing removal amount per unit time at all time by using the frame shape, spectacle lens thickness and processing margin according to the processing type.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
