WATER TREATMENT APPARATUS USING FLUID SHEAR STRESS

The present invention relates to a water treatment device using fluid shear stress. The water treatment device includes: a main body having an accommodation space inside, wherein an inlet in which water to be treated flows is formed on one side and an outlet which the water to be treated is discharged from is formed on the other side; a stator fixed and installed on one side of the inside of the main body; and a rotor installed on one side adjacent to the stator to rotate. An organism in the water to be treated, flowing inside through the inlet, is extinct by difference of shear stress generated between the stator and the rotor. According to the present invention, the water treatment device can improve purification efficiency of the water to be treated, as a by-product harmful to a human body is not generated in a water treatment process by using a method of removing the organism included in the water to be treated using the difference of the shear stress generated by a mechanical rotation force of the rotor. The water treatment device also can reduce costs as not requiring an additional work for treating the generated by-product.
