The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel ceramic fine particle dispersant which is capable of dispersing fine particles of a ceramic such as silicon carbide or boron nitride in a dispersion medium such as an organic solvent. A ceramic fine particle dispersant according to the present invention contains a block copolymer described below. A block polymer which comprises a block chain (A) having a repeating unit represented by formula (I) (wherein R11 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; X1 represents -NH- or -O-; Y1 represents a divalent linking group; each of R12-R14 independently represents an alkyl group, an arylalkyl group or a heteroarylalkyl group; and Z- represents a counter anion) and a block chain (B) having a repeating unit represented by formula (III) (wherein R31 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; X3 represents -NH- or -O-; and R32 represents an alkyl group, an arylalkyl group or a heteroarylalkyl group), provided that the block polymer does not contain an acidic group.
