A method for realizing site location, comprising: sites which cannot acquire self location information calculate, according to position information broadcasted by sites already acquiring self position information, self position information, the sites already acquiring the self position information comprising but not limited to: base stations being provided with satellite navigation system receiving equipment, and having an ability of acquiring position information from a satellite navigation system, or base stations already working out position information about the corresponding sites, and the sites which cannot acquire the self location information comprising but not limited to: base stations or mobile terminals being not provided with the satellite navigation system receiving equipment, or not having an ability of acquiring position information from the satellite navigation system. The method can be used for locating sites in a dense wireless communication network. |
