Provided in the embodiments of the present invention are a channel access method, access point (AP), and station (STA). The method comprises: receiving, by an AP, a resource request message sent from an STA; determining, by the AP, an idle channel of the AP to allocate to the STA according to at least one of the parameters: a service load volume of a basic service set (BSS) of the AP, a QoS parameter in the resource request message, and a cache data volume of the STA in the resource request message; and sending, by the AP, a resource response message to the STA, such that the STA transmits data with the idle channel having the highest priority level according to the resource response message, thus reasonably utilizing channel resources and in turn improving the capacity of a telecommunication network. |
